My work is a blend of narrative and symbolic abstraction. I am interested in chronicling the journey and documenting the dream.
I am influenced by the eclectic, cluttered collections of 19th century archeologists and anthropologists, by handwork, hand-made wallpaper and Indo-European imagery.
I believe there is an unbroken thread connecting my collages, drawings and paintings that depicts the forgotten, the innocent, universal archetypes, and creatures living in forests and urban wildernesses.
I am intrigued with the idea that I am simultaneously delving into the past, reaching into the future and trusting that the muses who inhabit the realms of myth, magic and all things unknown will choose my work to deliver their news.
